Unfortunately we sometimes receive demands to remove profiles from this site which include threats to take legal action against us. To date, we have not had anyone follow through with legal action against us. 

It is important to know that there are laws in place that protect us from legal responsibility for the content contained within profiles submitted by our users. Furthermore, the Communications Decency Act of 1996 (47 U.S.C. Sec. 230) provides a federal immunity to interactive computer services such as from liability based on information provided by another information content provider such as users of this site. 

We welcome you to educate yourself on this by reading the law, which clearly states that if you choose to take legal action against us for the reviews posted by our users, you may risk penalties imposed by the court. These penalties may include financial sanctions and reimbursement of our attorney's fees for our having to defend against a lawsuit that ignores obvious legal protections.

We ask that users of this site abide by these guidelines and rules. Furthermore we ask and expect our users to take responsibility for any and all reviews that they post. 

If after we investigate your claim and find that the review posted by the user is in violation of our rules/guidelines/policies, we will remove the review. Please understand that we do ask users to write professional and objective reviews thus if that is the case, we will stand by their review.
